"Positivity is our guiding star at Woodlands Health. This inspires me to share with my fellow colleagues to develop a nursing model capable of delivering the best possible care. And, the spirit of teamwork here is so contagious that it spreads to everyone, ensuring seamless care and services where we believe better health starts with us.”

Geraldine Ng, Assistant Director of Nursing

“One thing that makes me so proud to be part of the Woodlands Health nursing family is our fantastic nursing leaders. That really stood out during the pandemic, when they took the time to visit and encourage us. Their caring attitude extends to organising interest groups and other activities to help us make new friends among our colleagues.”

“The Woodlands Health family has provided a nurturing environment for me to hone my craft, as well as inculcating patient-centred core values that has allowed me to become an empathetic healthcare professional. We are also continually encouraged to explore new directions and protocols, which aids us in becoming more effective.”

Soh Tien En Joel Sherwyn, Senior Physiotherapist

“With Woodlands Health, I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of pharmacy duties and settings. It’s also wonderful to work within a culture where leaders encourage teams to care about each other and about how we can provide our patients with better services. I’m currently at an Urgent Care Centre, which has helped me learn how to run a pharmacy independently, and sharpened my problem-solving and leadership skills.”

Hemavathi D/O Sundramoorthy, Pharmacy Technician

“It is tremendously encouraging to work at Woodlands Health, as it truly values its employees, helping us reach our individual goals, be it professionally or personally. We also have a management team that cares. When we faced the tough challenge of COVID-19, they sent over tokens and gifts, lifting our morale.”

"My colleagues at Woodlands Health come from different healthcare clusters in Singapore, but we are all of the same mind in our determination to create a better hospital. The diversity of our backgrounds and the strong support for new ideas from leadership make Woodlands Health a great environment for us to pool our creativity to create better healthcare. Already, we have seen many initiatives and pilot projects in the pipeline or up and running.

Woodlands Health also has a strong kampung (community) spirit. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our leadership was proactive in providing social and emotional support, engaging with us, and updating us frequently. We stood by each other and survived the pandemic. This kampung spirit has been keeping us strong and will do so in the future too!”

Dr Er Chaozer Consultant, Advanced Internal Medicine

"Joining WH as a Hospital Clinician has broaden my medical knowledge and skills systematically and comprehensively. To become a competent team player, my training in emergency / general / geriatric medicine has proven to be essential, especially when I care for patients through their recovery journey.”
