About Us

Infectious Diseases is a specialised medical field which focuses on diagnosing and treating illnesses caused by infectious agents.

Our service is tailored to cater to the needs of patients in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Our services

We provide the following services:

Inpatient services

We offer treatment and care to patients with a wide spectrum of infectious diseases across varying levels of complexity , ranging from simple community acquired infections to complex infections in patients requiring intensive care.

Through close collaboration with other clinical specialists and healthcare professionals, we strive to provide wholistic and individualised care to our patients based on the latest clinical evidence.

Our doctors are also actively involved in the prevention of infections in the hospital by providing antimicrobial stewardship and advising on infection control.

Outpatient services

Our Infectious Diseases clinic handles referrals for a diverse range of diseases, ranging from common infections to esoteric infections involving multidrug resistant organisms or patients on immunosupression. Additionally, we provide vaccinations and manage post travel-related infections.

For certain patients in need of extended intravenous antibiotic therapy, our Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT) clinic enables them to receive essential treatment without the need for hospitalisation.
