What drove you to join healthcare?
There was a shortage of manpower within the healthcare industry. I saw an opportunity to contribute my skills and make a meaningful impact.
What is one thing that spurs you on at work?
One key motivator for me at work is ensuring the patient's well-being before and after the operation.
What is one thing about your job, that you feel is unknown or misunderstood?
Operating Theatre Assistants are often viewed as secondary, but we play an equally vital role in the surgical team. We work alongside doctors and nurses, ensuring the success of each procedure.
Can you share with us one or two memorable moments from your time in WH or healthcare?
Some of my most memorable moments in healthcare are when patients wake up after their surgeries and express their gratitude. These instances are a powerful reminder of the positive impact we have on their lives.

I'm grateful to contribute to successful surgeries and witness patients recover and go home.
What motivated you to stay on with WH?
I appreciate that we operate like one big family, always ready to help and support each other. Good colleagues make my work experience much more enjoyable.
