As international travel continues to rise, primary care physicians play a critical role in minimising health and safety risks faced by patients travelling overseas. This talk will provide an overview of pre travel health considerations, including travel vaccinations and other preventive measures. It will also highlight ongoing and emerging infectious disease risks—such as measles and meningococcal disease—to support timely, evidence based patient counselling.
