About Us​

Optometry is a service that supports the Eye department by conducting eye imaging and diagnostic investigations as well as managing patients with stable eye conditions.

​ We also perform refraction to correct vision problems such as short-sightedness, long-sightedness, and astigmatism.

Management of eye diseases require high quality imaging of structures within the eye. Our team conduct such investigations to help detect, diagnose and document a range of eye conditions.

  • Providing prescriptions for optical appliances such as spectacles and contact lenses

  • Binocular vision assessment

  • Orthoptics assessment

  • Preoperative evaluation

  • Ultrasound assessment of the eyes

  • Eye imaging and diagnostic services

  • Monitoring of stable eye conditions such as early cataract, mild diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma suspects
