The team is composed of registered occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants, providing services across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Geriatrics
With the aim of fostering safe and independent participation in daily activities, we collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for the elderly, including those facing conditions such as Dementia, Frailty, and Parkinson's disease.
Our services include training in daily activities, educating caregivers, making recommendations for home modifications, recommending assistive devices, and supporting active aging and community integration.
Orthopaedics
In collaboration with patients recovering from single or multiple limb or spinal fractures, we empower both patients and caregivers with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely engage in valued activities.
Additionally, we provide prescription and training for assistive devices, including elevating wheelchairs, while ensuring strict adherence to any weight-bearing or post-operative restrictions.
Neurology
We provide therapy for clients with various conditions affecting physical, cognitive, sensory, and perceptual functions. This includes neurological conditions such as stroke, head injury, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injury. Our goal is to help individuals function more independently and participate meaningfully in chosen activities.
Upper Limb and Hand
We specialise in rehabilitating the hands, wrists, and upper limbs. Our occupational therapists collaborate closely with individuals to enhance the functionality of the upper limb and hand. Our goal is to help individuals engage in activities that are significant to them, especially after an injury or due to a chronic condition.
Mental Health and Wellness
Occupational Therapy empowers patients and caregivers by offering therapy to enhance the functional abilities of clients with psychiatric, emotional, and behavioural challenges. We also provide therapeutic support to assist patients in their recovery journey towards community independence, enabling them to perform work, activities of daily living, and leisure.
