Our Services

We provide the following services:

Inpatient & outpatient services

Our dietetic services cater to both inpatients and outpatients referred for medical nutrition therapy by physicians. Upon referral, our dietitians conduct thorough nutrition assessments and deliver personalised nutrition interventions, both during the hospital stay and after discharge.

For patients facing challenges in consuming sufficient food due to medical conditions or surgery, our dietitians plan and implement timely nutrition support. This support is tailored to each patient, considering factors such as the amount, type, and route of nutrition, with the aim of preventing malnutrition and optimising healing and recovery.

Within Woodlands Health, our dietitians collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nutrition care, enhancing the clinical outcomes of our patients.

Furthermore, our team of dietitians extends individualised nutrition education and counseling to patients with diverse health conditions, catering to both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Community services

We actively provide and support community outreach initiatives centered around nutrition to enhance health in our community. Additionally, we host a variety of nutrition talks and workshops, addressing both general and specialized topics, for our patients, caregivers, the public, staff, and partners. These sessions focus on diet and the prevention and management of chronic diseases.

We also collaborate with our community team, offering support to provide nutrition input and education to patients and caregivers.

Other services

We collaborate closely with Food Services, offering consultation in the development and review of regular, therapeutic, and texture-modified diets. These dietary plans are designed to meet the nutritional, cultural, and social needs of our patients and clients.

Furthermore, we actively engage in continuing professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research to uphold evidence-based practices.
