Is needle acupuncture painful?
The experience can vary from person to person, as well as depending on the area where the needle is inserted. Most patients report only minimal discomfort, often describing it as a slight prick or a tingling sensation. Our acupuncturists are highly trained, and the needles used are very fine, which helps to minimise any discomfort.
Am I able to see the same acupuncturist every time?
Yes, subject to the availability of the acupuncturist and your specific treatment needs. As a general practice, follow-up sessions will be scheduled with the same acupuncturist you have seen previously.
Who is suitable for acupuncture?
Acupuncture is suitable for patients experiencing pain. You can discuss with your doctor if you are keen.
