W​oodlands Health is opening in December 2023! We are looking for volunteers to help make WH a welcoming and caring environment for our North-western community.

Join us as a volunteer if you:
  • ​​enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life
  • want to encourage and support those on their journeys towards better health
  • are looking to help patients and caregivers transition smoothly back to home and community​​


Volunteer opportunities 

For our opening in December 2023, we are looking for: 

  • Navigation Buddy

    Be the warm and friendly face that welcomes patients and visitors to WH. ​You have an important role to introduce the services and facilities at the new hospital. You may also be called on to assist patients and visitors from the drop-off and meeting points to other areas of the hospital.   

  • ​​Digital Master

    You will assist patients and visitors in using digital platforms such as the visitor registration kiosks and patient service stations for queue management, appointment bookings and payments. As the digital go-to, your presence will help improve the general experience at WH.



Here are some things to note, if you are keen to volunteer:

  • You should be 18 years and above.
  • Able to volunteer at least once a month.
  • We have volunteer shifts from Mondays to Fridays. 


Sign up as a volunteer

  1. ​Please complete this Expression of Interest Form​ and we will contact you via phone for a short chat.

  2. ​Thereafter, you’ll be asked to complete an Application Form and attend an interview to assess your suitability.  The Application Form will require personal details including your vaccination status, why you want to volunteer, preferred role, availability and references.

  3. ​Successful applicants will be required to attend an orientation programme to learn more about WH and the role you’ll be taking on. Training and development opportunities will also be provided to all WH volunteers.
